Melissa Sue Kinney of Eldridge and Robert Addison Wehrfritz of Sebastopol, Calif., are engaged to be married.
Melissa is the daughter of Randall and Ana Kinney of Eldridge. She graduated from North Scott High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in linguistics and Spanish from the University of California – Los Angeles, and a master of arts degree in speech language – pathology from The University of Iowa.
Robert is the son of Robert and Bobbi-Michelle Wehrfritz of Sebastopol. He graduated from Analy High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in linguistics and Spanish from the University of California – Los Angeles. He is a volunteer firefighter with the Coralville Fire Department.
The couple will be married Sept. 7 in Iowa City.
