Kelly Johnson wins first Football Contest of the season

Kelly Johnson of Walcott won the $50 first prize in Week No. 1 of the North Scott Press Football Contest. He was one of four who missed two. His tie breaker of 47 was closest to 40, the total points in Iowa’s win over Northern Illinois. Tim Burke of Bettendorf won the $25 second prize with a tie breaker of 49, and Ken White of Davenport won the $10 third prize with a tie breaker of 31. Lyn Claussen missed four and had a tie breaker of 28.
