Kelsey Grace Kaasa of Davenport, and Matthew Ashley Johnson of Clinton are engaged to be married.
Kelsey is the daughter of Megan McClung and Gary Kaasa of Davenport. She graduated from North Scott High School in 2013, and from the University of Northern Iowa in December of 2017. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and is employed as a graduate assistant for the Department of Special Education at the university.
Matthew is the son of Karen and Chuck Johnson of Clinton. He graduated from Unity Christian School in 2010, and from Judson University, Elgin, Ill., in 2014. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Upper Iowa University, and is employed by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Iowa.
The couple will be married June 30 at Olde St. Ann’s Church in Long Grove. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Eldridge Community Center.
