A local success story

Here's an item of unexpected good news: Eldridge electric rates are third lowest in Iowa with an average price of 7.9 cents per kilowatt hour. The western Iowa towns of Manilla and Denison are the only ones that are lower, at 7.85 and 7.86. That's according to information from the U.S. Energy Information Administration published in Sunday's Des Moines Register, based on revenue divided by kilowatt hours.
