Happy Joe's helped Eldridge see itself in a new way

Eldridge has come a long way since, but the raising of the Happy Joe's Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor sign on East LeClaire Road in May 1976  was a big deal. It was the first franchise restaurant in our little town of 2,500 and brought instant recognition and credibility.
