Narrowing the education funding gap

This week we amended and passed SF 455 in the House and now it goes to the Senate. The bill commits $2.9 million in new funding, permanently building it into the base so that it will grow from year to year based on enrollment. This is the first time since the 1980s that the $175 per student gap has been narrowed.
