Hailee Elizabeth Gehrls and Kristopher Daniel Hopkins were united in marriage on July 1, 2017, at Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, Solon. James Hagen officiated the ceremony.
Taylor Gehrls and Erin Gehrls served as maids of honor. The bride’s attendants were Allison Gehrls, Tova Hettinger, Jillian Christoff, Kylie Gottschalk, Nicole Anderson, Chelsea Crain, and Casha McGowean. Annabell Zahradnik and Megan Zahradnik were flower girls.
Jared Kuehner served as best man. The groom’s attendants were Andrew Jones, Gabriel Jones, Daniel Lohman, Tim Ahline, Jacob Deaton, Matthew Faas, and Garrett Smith. William Zahradnik was ring bearer.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Diane Beach, organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Ashton Hill Farm, Cedar Rapids, with entertainment by Unique Events.
Hailee is the daughter of Todd and Kathy Gehrls of Donahue. She graduated from North Scott High School in 2009, and from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, in 2013. She is employed as a K-5 music teacher in the Linn-Mar Community School District.
Kristopher is the son of Zach and Wendi Jones of Keokuk, and Dan and Pam Hopkins of Jefferson City, Mo. He graduated from Keokuk High School in 2009, and from Coe College in 2013. He is employed as a benefits consultant at Benefit Solutions, Cedar Rapids.
The couple resides in Marion.
