The HealthCare.gov open enrollment period began Nov. 1 and ends Dec. 15, for coverage starting on Jan. 1, 2019. Whether consumers are new to the HealthCare.gov Exchange or returning, CMS wants Iowans who want coverage through the Exchange to be aware of the upcoming deadline so they do not miss the opportunity to sign up for 2019 coverage.
