Dorothy Musal of LeClaire will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house on Sunday, Feb. 17. All friends and relatives are invited to call from 2-5 p.m. at the LeClaire Civic Center. No gifts, please.
Dorothy Hill was born Jan. 27, 1929, on Devils Glen Road in Bettendorf. She married Carl Musal on Jan. 2, 1948, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport. He died in July of 2002.
She was employed by LeClaire City Hall and Iowa One Call, retiring in 1995.
She loves working puzzles and her family.
Her children are Stan (Bonnie) Musal of LeClaire, and Russ Musal of Davenport. A daughter, Carla Musal, died in 2007. Her grandchildren are Tina Lopez, Tammy West, Mark Musal, Brenda Musal, and Christopher Marshall. She has nine great-grandchildren.
