DeVere Ganzer of Eldridge will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house on Saturday, Oct. 14. All friends and relatives are invited to call from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Buzzy’s Tap, Welton. No gifts, please.
DeVere Ganzer was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Wheatland. He and his wife Loraine were married July 7, 1951.
He was a self-employed farmer and owned Ganzer Feed & Supply.
He enjoys visiting with friends and family, and playing cards.
His children are Lonny (Karen) Ganzer of Eldridge, Neva (Dave) Litscher of Stanwood, Camelia Jo of Basalt, Colo., and Lela Nemmers of Monument, Colo.
His grandchildren are Kendra (Ben) Wolf, Rachel (Jeff) Knepper, Kent (Tawnia) Ganzer, Renae (Kris) Koth, Ben Litscher, Chris (Megan) Litscher, and Allison (Nick) Nissen.
He has 19 great-grandchildren.
