A funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial for Sr. Lynne Thérèse Elwinger, OCD, 79, Prioress of the Carmelite Monastery, will be held Saturday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Long Grove. Following the funeral liturgy, a luncheon will be held in the Parish Hall. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, from 4-6 p.m at the church. A wake service will be held at 6 p.m. The Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting with arrangements.
Sr. Elwinger died Monday, March 11, 2019, at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
