A funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph J. VanDeWiele, 95, of Eldridge, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Long Grove. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4-7 p.m. at the church, with additional visitation one hour prior to Mass on Wednesday at the church. Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. VanDeWiele died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the Tina VanDeWiele Memorial Scholarship Fund or to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
