A funeral service for Dr. John Matthew Curran, 71, of Minneapolis, formerly of Eldridge, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Honoring his wishes, the rite of cremation will be accorded following the service.
Dr. Curran died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 16, 2018, due to a major cardiac event suffered at his home.
