A celebration of life service for Fred Carl Wessel III, 88, of Eldridge, will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at The Outing Club, Davenport. A private family funeral service will be held at Weerts Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery.
Mr. Wessel died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
