Dick and Shirley Cole of Eldridge celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip to New Zealand and Australia in November. They found the countries very British and very modern. Two of the most memorable stops were the Sydney Opera House and the Hobbit film site.
Before the trip, the family celebrated locally with a family gathering and dinner. The families are Shelly (Tim) Kuhl, Kathy (Steve) Smith, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
