Aug. 20, 2014: North Scott High School football coach Kevin Tippet accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The North Scott event was organized by Steph Sacia, and more than 50 people were on hand at Lancer Stadium to either dump water or witness the event, which was part of a nationwide campaign to raise $15 million for research for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
