Audrey Hinds of Walcott will celebrate her 90th birthday with a birthday party with light fare. All friends and family are invited to call starting at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Social Hall at Calvary United Methodist Church in Walcott. No gifts, please.
Mrs. Hinds was born Nov. 6, 1928. She graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City with a degree in education, and minors in history and English. She married Duane Elwood Hinds on Nov. 25, 1948.
Her children are Michael (Katie) Hinds of Marion, Blaine (Elizabeth) Hinds of Deland, Fla., and Julie Hinds Mott (Dennis Mott) of Davenport. Her grandchildren are David Hinds, Bryan (Laura) Hinds, Sarah Hinds, Andrew Hinds, Eric Mott, and Jason (Angela) Mott. She has three great-grandchildren.
