Ann Blondell to note 80th birthday with Sept. 10 cake reception

Ann Blondell of Eldridge will celebrate her 80th birthday with a cake reception on Sept. 10. Family and friends are invited to call from 2-5 p.m. at the Long Grove Community Center, 114 N. 1st St. No gifts, please.

Ann Flaherty was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Davenport. She married Don Blondell on Oct. 13, 1956, in Davenport.

She was employed at Bloomer’s in Eldridge.

Her children are Kathy (Ed) Barkalow of Atalissa, Mike Blondell and Teresa Blondell, both of Eldridge, and Christy (Heath) Pacha of Long Grove.

Her grandchildren are Adam (Betsy) Barkalow, Alyssa (Rob) Dominacki, Luke Blondell, Jenna Blondell, Tyler Blondell, Zeke Blondell, Grant Blondell, Carter Pacha, and Camille Pacha. She has one great-granddaughter.
