Merle and Mary Lou Anderson of Eldridge will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a weeklong gathering of family in Estes Park, Colo.
Mary Lou Schreiber and Merle Anderson were married July 5, 1969, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Peoria, Ill.
Mr. Anderson managed Farm Supply and Grain Marketing Cooperatives and retired in 2000 from River Valley Cooperative. Mrs. Anderson was a University of Illinois Cooperative Extension advisor until becoming a full-time homemaker.
They are the parents of Eric Anderson of Woodridge, Ill., and Brent (Maria) Anderson of Lisle, Ill., and Amy (Bart) Karber of Mansfield, Texas. Their four grandchildren are Lily and Griffin Anderson and Sadie and Austin Karber.
