Alice Ewoldt to note 95th birthday with family

Alice Ewoldt of Eldridge will celebrate her 95th birthday with a family gathering.

Alice Luettgens was born Nov. 26, 1922, in Scott County. She married Lloyd Ewoldt Dec. 20, 1944, in Big Rock.

She is the mother of Dolores (Reed) Schlapkohl of Durant, Linda Ewoldt of Eldridge, Lavonne (Dennis) Hearty of Overland Park, Kan., and Gail (John) Schebler of Davenport.

Her grandchildren are Dean Schlapkohl, Nancy Miller, Brenda Buns, Todd Hill, Amber Dedovesh, Niki Stillman, Adam Hill, and Corey Greene. She has seven great-grandchildren.
