Nov. 9, 1994: Thanks to an agreement between the Dixon Telephone Company and Central Scott Telephone, calls between the two companies would now be toll-free. Dixon’s Howard Hunt and CST’s Norm Harvey credited expanded fiber optics to Donahue for the deal.
