It was a whirlwind "in between" week last week as we wrapped up business for 2017 and set plans in motion for 2018. Our daughters Anne and Alisa and grandchildren braved the stormy cold (brrrr!) to come here for a belated family Christmas on Dec. 30, decked out in their cardinal and gold for Iowa State's Liberty Bowl victory.
