Patrick O’Flahrity and Keaton Kress of Eldridge tied for first place in Week No. 2 of The North Scott Press Football Contest. They were two of four who missed only one of the week’s 17 picks, and had identical tie breakers of 45 (closest estimate to total points in Iowa’s 13-3 win over Iowa State). They won $37.50 each (half of first- and second-place prize money of $50 and $25). Sean Greene of Eldridge missed one and had a tie breaker of 48. He won the $10 third prize. John Foley of Bettendorf missed one and had a tie breaker of 48. more

Kayla Easter of Dexter, Iowa, and Holly Eckermann of Osceola, Iowa, got all 17 games right. Kayla won the $50 first prize with a tie breaker of 46 (closest estimate to total points in Penn State's 21-19 win over Iowa, while Holly won the $25 second prize with a tie breaker of 53. more
