Enforce fireworks laws

The first (illegal) fireworks broke the silence in our neighborhood Sunday evening, June 17, around 10 o'clock. We hope this is not a sign of things to come. The city of Eldridge and adjacent communities set 2-11 p.m. on July 3 and 4 as the only hours fireworks are legal. Period. more
