North Scott sophomores filled St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Long Grove, March 21 to get first-hand information from professionals in 16 career fields. Shovelers, scrapers, plowers and faithful pet owners braved Monday’s snowfall throughout Eldridge and all of Scott County. Because of the weather, school was dismissed early on Monday and the school board’s public meeting before the Donahue City Council meeting was cancelled.
