Great letter John, you are absolutely right. The people of this country must become aware of what this aministration is trying to do to this great country. This is one of the most important elections in our lifetime.

Who ever said that people can't make their own decisions? If it is too slick, foggy, cold, hot or whatever, we can make our own decisions. If the proper decision isn't being made by a superintendant/principal/official regarding the safety of our children, parents need to remember that they can make their own decisions. If you think it's that bad - stay home, get them home early or whatever you think is best for you. Don't let others' decisions always be yours. Remember the saying "would you jump off a bridge because someone else told you to?" Realize that no matter what decision an official makes, it isn't going to please everyone...Sometimes you need to make your own.

I agree. Also, let's let law enforcement come into our homes at any time as well, after all if we're not doing anything wrong... If they get sneaky, we can adddress the issue. Not once have I ever saw any empirical evidence to support the cameras, just anecdotal data from (guess who) the benficiaries of the fines! Wake up, this is America, land of the FREE, not land of the sheep

To say someone is less informed than you due to what they prefer to watch and/or listen to is a symptom of a supercilious person. I acknowledge that people tend to watch and/or listen to programs that closely relate to what they believe.
Personally I watch several differnt news channels. I decide what I believe after listening and reading several different view points. Try it you might like it or learn something.

Stimulate market and employment expansion is something I support. Making location decisions is the bread and butter of economic geography. Long Grove is a wonderful community. I encourage it's growth.
