Funeral services for Sharon Sue (Hass) Arbogast, 68, of Iowa City, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 18 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Iowa City.
Mrs. Arbobast died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her home.
She was born July 31, 1944, and was raised outside of Dixon. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1962. She obtained a registered nursing license in 1965 from Moline Public School of Nursing, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa.
Mrs. Arbogast was employed in various nursing roles in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Her hobbies were her family, nursing career, attending her grandchildren’s activities, keeping the environment clean, and recycling.

Survivors include children, Alissa (Daryl) Schepanski, Anamosa, Eric (Annette), Williamsburg, Pa., Karl (Christine), Yuma, Ariz., and Karen Bok (Jereme Sutton), North Liberty; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Austin) Goodsman, Jane and Wyatt Colony, Rachel, Kevin and Kyle Schepanski, Brittney and Allison Arbogast, and Nicolaus, Benjamin, and Heidi Arbogast; and siblings, Don (Pat) Hass, Gene Meyer, Kate Stankee, Janelle (Scott) Weinberg, Jeanna Tendall (Harry Oberg), and Pamela Hass (Lee Hanson).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Inez (Warner) Hass; a son-in-law, Christopher Bok; a sister, Delores Meyer; and a brother-in-law, Brent Stankee.
