Funeral services for Judith “Judy” E. Eckstein, 81, of Bettendorf, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 in The Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Eckstein died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport, after a brief illness.
Judy Theil was born May 11, 1931, in Scott County, the daughter of Peter and Ida (Hoffman) Theil. She married Wayne Eckstein on Nov. 12, 1949, at St. John’s United Methodist Church, Davenport.
Memorials may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church or the Scott County Humane Society.
Survivors include her husband; children, Mary (Jon) Kaufmann, Deborah Montella, and Patty (Brad Bliss) Hall; grandchildren, Michelle, Chris, and Alexandra; and three great-grandchildren.
