Obituary: Pat Bohnsack

Graveside services for Patsy “Pat” M. Bohnsack, 65, of Blue Grass, were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at the Parr Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 5 p.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church, Buffalo. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Bohnsack died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at her home.

Pat Beasley was born March 17, 1947, in Park Litchfield, Ariz., the daughter of Gabriel and Mildred (Barnett) Beasley. She graduated from Brawley Union (Calif.) High School in 1965. She married Loren Bohnsack. She started working for the government in 1972, and moved to Davenport in 1981 to work at the Arsenal. In 2003 she opened her shop in Blue Grass, Treasures from the Heartland, and was a crafter and seller at local craft shows.

Her hobbies were family, flowers, auctions, stained glass, furniture upholstering, jewelry, silk screening, basket weaving, pottery, soaps and lotions.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Kellie (Craig) Moore and Lori Johnson, all of Davenport; a son, Shawn Johnson, Davenport; stepchildren, Tina (Brad) Soukup, Muscatine, and Evonne (Glen Shouby) Wilson; grandchildren, Austin, Katerina, Hunter, Daniel, and Laurren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Hoffman and Helen Deputy; and brothers, Johnny, Donald and Clifford Beasley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law, Evelyn Bohnsack; and a brother-in-law, Grant McConnaha.
