Funeral services for Jane A. McMahon, 73, of Maquoketa, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at First United Methodist Church, Maquoketa. Following cremation, burial was in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McMahon died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Jane Koester was born April 5, 1939, in Dubuque, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred Koester. She was a 1982 graduate of National Chiropractic College. She married James McMahon on Oct. 28, 1989. He died Jan. 13, 2011. Mrs. McMahon had worked at Palmer Chiropractic College as a clinical advisor from 1986-1995, when she retired.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Survivors include children, Bill Jr. (Kathy), Wendy (Dave) Mueller, and John, David, and Dan; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Pat) Koester and Joey Koester; and her ex-husband, Bill White, Eldridge.
