Funeral services for Jacob Patrick Dalton, 9, of Davenport, were held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.
Jacob Dalton died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at his home, following an 18-month battle with brain cancer.
Jacob Dalton was born March 8, 2003, in Davenport, the son of Bret and Brenda (Iversen) Dalton. He was a fourth-grader at Eisenhower Elementary.
His hobbies were spending time with his teachers and classmates, playing video games, playing with his stuffed animals, and spending time with his family.
Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Dance Marathon, Gilda’s Club of the Quad-Cities, or Eisenhower School Activity Fund.
Survivors include his parents; brothers, Tyler, Alec and Garrett, all of Davenport; grandparents, Barbara and Oliver Banks, Bettendorf, and Larry and Nancy Iversen, Eldridge; and a great-grandmother, Alice Larson, Davenport.
