Funeral services for Gertrude “Bobbie” Stoner, 77, of Davenport, formerly of DeWitt, were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at The Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial was in the Oakdale Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Davenport.
Mrs. Stoner died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Davenport Lutheran Home.
Gertrude Haigh was born March 13, 1935, in Iowa City, the daughter of Robert and Mavis (Schutters) Haigh. She was married to George Stoner for 25 years. He died June 30, 2007.
Mrs. Stoner worked for Genesis West Medical Center, Davenport, where she retired after many years of service. Her hobby was gambling.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include a daughter, Sunnie and husband Tom Andresen, Walcott, and granddaughters, Brandie and Danielle Andresen.
