Nancy Schmidt
Private graveside services for Nancy A. Schmidt, 71, of Davenport, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at the Davenport Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Schmidt died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Genesis West Medical Center.
Nancy Weisbrook was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Davenport, the daughter of Lloyd and Martha (Kight) Weisbrook. She married Steven D. Schmidt on March 19, 1965, in Davenport.
Mrs. Schmidt worked as a secretary for Alcoa for a number of years, and later at Ralston-Purina, retiring after 28 years as a secretary.
Her hobbies were her family, her Yorkie, and puzzles.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Stephanie (Mike) Meyers, Jacksonville, N.C., and Nicole (Wesley) Gerdts, Solon; a brother, Craig (Debbie) Weisbrook, Long Grove; grandchildren, Sydney, Grace, Sarah, and Joey; father-in-law, Victor H. Schmidt, Davenport; and sister-in-law, Susan Schmidt, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
