Myron “Mike” R. Suiter, of Foley, Ala., formerly of Princeton, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Princeton. The Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
Myron Suiter was born Feb. 6, 1927, in LeClaire, the son of Edward and May (Ehlers) Suiter. He married Sue Ann Adams on April 21, 1951.
Mr. Suiter served in the U.S. Army Tank Corp. He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal, farmed, and worked with J.I. Case Test Dept. He retired after 20 years as a truck driver.
He was a 50-year member of Snow Lodge #44 Free & Accepted Masons, LeClaire. His hobbies were playing cards and reading.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shelley (Kenneth) Beauthien, Wheatland; sons, Kenneth (Lori), DeWitt, and Daniel (Linda), Princeton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Hoffman, Tipton; and a brother-in-law, David Adams, Asheville, N.C.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, and sisters, Virginia Broughton and Ida Phillips.
