Funeral services for Mary Ellen Inghram, 79, of Davenport, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial was in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Inghram died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

Mary Ellen Ingwersen was born May 5, 1933, in Davenport, the daughter of Max and Wilma (Oetzmann) Ingwersen. She graduated from Davenport High School in 1951. She married Louis Inghram on Sept. 2, 1955. He died in July 2004.

Mrs. Inghram was a member of the Davenport-Bettendorf Bowling Association for over 35 years, a member of the Anne Ken Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, Hep Cat Sub Deb Club, and Die-Hard-Cub Fan Club since 1944.

Her hobbies were being with her family and friends, garage sales, bi-annual trips to Las Vegas and the President Riverboat, scrabble trips, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, and watching Hawkeye basketball and Chicago Cubs baseball.

Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or the Quad-City Greyhound Adoption.

Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Inghram; sons, Roger (Lisa) and David (Tara); grandchildren, Jenna, Ryan, Tyler, and Keith; sisters, Marj Hueser and Marty (Dick) Huntington; a brother, John (Rita); and a sister-in-law, Anna May (Ed) Dufek.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joe Hueser.
