Funeral services for Loren H. Lilienthal, 62, of Clarence, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Clarence, with the Rev. David Means officiating. Burial was in the St. John’s Cemetery, Clarence. The Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lilienthal died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Clinton.
Loren Lilienthal was born July 14, 1950, in Iowa City, the son of Eldon and Lois (Levien) Lilienthal. He married Teresa Riggs on Dec. 2, 1978, in Muscatine.
His hobbies were family, farming, reading, and racing. He was also on the Fairfield Township Board of Trustees.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Lisa (Adam) Horman, Clarence, and Laura (Andrew) Meyer, Donahue; a son, Daniel, Clarence; four grandchildren; his mother, Lois, Tipton; and brothers, Leon and Lynn (Pat), all of Tipton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
