Kevin Allan Kroeger was born April 12, 1954, in Davenport, Iowa, the second son of Harold and Janice (Marten) Kroeger. He attended North Scott High School, where he met his beloved wife, Lynn Carstens. The couple was united in marriage April 3, 1976, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf.

He served as a member of the Eldridge Utility Board for more than 20 years, and he was a trusted adviser to the board of the Quad City Montessori School for many years.

Kevin enjoyed gardening, hunting, singing in the choir at St. Ann’s, solving crossword puzzles, playing Bridge, and cooking his famous chili. He was a devoted, loving father and grandfather who treasured every moment spent with friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Lynn; mother, Janice Kroeger, Eldridge; son, Shaun (Nicki) Kroeger, Chicago, Ill.; daughter, Jessica (Tim) Kresowik, Davenport; son, Bret (Margaretta) Kroeger, Boston, Mass.; son, Brock (Kathleen) Kroeger, Eldridge; daughter Madeline Kroeger, Eldridge; son, Benjamin Kroeger, Eldridge; three brothers, Kent (Diane), Steven (Susan), Dean (Debra), and a sister, Susan (David) Graham; and four grandchildren, Evelyn, Jacob, Alexander, and Lillian.
