Services for Darlene B. Eike, 77, of Dyersville, were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31 at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Dennis Quint presiding. Burial was in the St. Francis Cemetery. The Reiff Funeral Home, Dyersville, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eike died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
A Darlene B. Eike memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Deborah Dietrich, Charles City; a granddaughter, Dr. Debbie Dietrich, Ankeny; sisters, Geraldine Meyer, Walcott, Louetta Slattery, Davenport, and Thyra Missfeldt, Bettendorf; a brother, Harry Arp, Eldridge; and a brother-in-law, Lavern Eike, Manchester.
