Barry A. Legel, 51, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Fulton, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Tulsa. A gathering of family and friends was held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date in Argo Fay Cemetery, Argo Fay, Ill.
Barry Legel was born July 30, 1961, in Savanna, the son of Richard and Beverly (Koser) Legel. He was a supervisor for B&H Construction. His hobbies were his work, travel, sports, the lottery, and fishing.
Survivors include a son, Richard Hastings of Louisiana; stepfather, Richard (Betty) Borgman, Fulton; grandfather, Jean Borgman, Fulton; and sisters, Christine (Mike) Herch, Clinton, and Casey (Jason) Feller, Eldridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Eric, in infancy, and Richard Jr.
