Funeral services for Richard E. Gless II, 42, of Bettendorf, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 (today) at The Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will take place at a later date.
Mr. Gless died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in Bettendorf.
Richard Gless was born Dec. 29, 1969, in Davenport, the son of Richard and Alice (Hurlbut) Gless. He graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1988. He married Chelsea Easter on Oct. 8, 2008, in Bettendorf.
Mr. Gless had worked as a health and life insurance agent for Cities Insurance Group for many years. He later worked in selling precious metals. His hobbies were golfing, traveling and going to the beach.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Benjamin and Austin Gless, and Nate Rudsell; his mother, Alice Gless, Davenport, his father, Richard and wife Evelyn, LeClaire; sisters, Rachel Gless and Deborah (Jimmy) Wheeler, all of Davenport, Angel Curtis of Ohio, and Donna Sandefur.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Donada McCandless.
