Funeral services for Myrna A. Tebben-Cooper, 72, of Eldridge, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Burial was in the Rock Island National Cemetery.
Mrs. Tebben-Cooper died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
Myrna Tebben was born Jan. 12, 1940, in Odebolt, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Tillie (Lorenzen) Tebben. She was a graduate of Wall Lake High School and had attended the College of DuPage, Scott Community College and St. Ambrose University. She married Gerald Cooper in Las Vegas in 1989.
She had been employed by Caterpillar, the Army Corps of Engineers, and retired from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Rock Island.
Her hobbies were collecting antiques and her cats.
Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tracey and husband Jorge Flores, Andover, Kan.; a son, Steve Kluver, Manning, Iowa; grandchildren, Ashlie, Levi, Allisa and Lucas Kluver, Jacob Larman, and Amelia, Michael and Virginia Flores; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy and husband Bill Ogren, Odebolt; and a brother, Harlen and wife Peggy Tebben.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marlis Tebben-Olsen.
