A Memorial Mass for Michael J. McClean, 66, of Rock Island, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Rock Island. The Wendt Funeral Home, Moline, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McClean died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home.
Michael McClean was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Rock Island, the son of Clifford and Mary (Kerwin) McClean. He graduated from Rock Island High School. He married Deanna Goetz on July 26, 1989.
Mr. McClean served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed for 35 years at John Deere Plow-Planter, retiring Nov. 5, 2005.
Mr. McClean was a longtime member of the church.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Dr. Vincent McClean, Rock Island; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Bennett-McClean, and Alanna (Bill) McGovern, all of East Moline, and Sandy (Kevin) Wohlford, Eldridge; his mother-in-law, Anna Goetz, East Moline; and nieces, Elizabeth Juneo, Christi McClean, and Colleen (Bryan) Radosevich.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry; his father-in-law, Raymond Goetz Jr.; and a nephew.
