Kenneth E. Valentine, 53, of Bettendorf, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, after an extended illness.
A wake for family and friends was held from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Main Event, Bettendorf. The Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Kenneth Valentine was born Nov. 19, 1959, in Davenport, the son of Darlene and Kenneth Valentine.
Mr. Valentine had worked for LeClaire Manufacturing and Alcoa.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with friends.
Survivors include daughters, Stephanie Valentine, Ankeny, and Erin Valentine, Davenport; his father, Kenneth Valentine, Pleasant Valley; and a sister, Annette Valentine-Gossett, Smyrna, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and a son, Kyle.
