Henrietta Cahill
A memorial service for Henrietta L. Cahill, 86, of Davenport, will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 (today) in The Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Cahill died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012. The body was cremated.
Henrietta Hinrichs was born April 2, 1926, in Long Grove, the daughter of Ernst and Lydia (Reimers) Hinrichs. She was a 1944 graduate of Davenport High School. She married Charles Cahill in Chicago.
Mrs. Cahill was employed by the Davenport and North Scott Rotary clubs, retiring in 2006.
Her hobbies included the Chicago Cubs and playing bingo.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include children, Charles and Patricia, Diane and Jim Hinds, Mary Ryder, Timothy Cahill, Daniel Cahill, Louise and George Steil, and Patricia and Mark Shinn; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Barry Ward.
