Graveside services for DoLores Lorraine Youngquist, 81, of Davenport, were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. The Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Youngquist died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Davenport Lutheran Home.
DoLores Weidenfeller was born March 7, 1931, in Hawarden, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and LorRaine Weidenfeller. She married Roger Youngquist on May 29, 1964.
Mrs. Youngquist had worked as an operator at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She later owned and operated Ra Enterprises in the Village of East Davenport.
Her hobbies were gardening, ceramics, collecting Boyd’s Bears, lifting weights, and animals.
Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial.
Survivors include her husband; children, Kim Busch, Blue Grass, Dana (Michael) Clowers, Little Rock, Ark., and Clint (Michele) Youngquist, Eldridge; and grandchildren, Michelle (Todd) Lee, Holly (Chris) Pelton, Alison (Daniel) Burrell, Josiah (Anna) Clowers, Brianna and Kimberly Clowers, Carson, Carley, Caden, and Cayla Youngquist.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Frank Weidenfeller and FranCelle Bliss.
