Services for Brenda Lee Wilson, 55, of Walcott, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time.
Ms. Wilson died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at her home.
Brenda Schwieter was born Nov. 18, 1957, in Moline, the daughter of Robert and Louise (Shepard) Schwieter. She graduated from Moline High School and Scott Community College.
She worked at Forest Hill Nursing Home, East Moline, for many years.
Her hobbies were crocheting, singing, cooking, and her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Abney, Walcott; a son, David, Walcott; stepchildren, Gina Wilson, Rock Island, John Wilson and Tonya Williams, both of Moline; grandchildren, Deanna and Dylan Abney; step-grandchildren, Sydnie and John McNeal II; her mother, Louise Poelvoorde, Silvis; and sisters, Linda Williams, Silvis, and Margie Lewis, East Moline.
She was preceded in death by her father.
