Funeral services for Brandon E. Sissel, 18, of Davenport, were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4 at The Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial was in the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Sissel died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at home after a courageous battle with bone cancer.
Brandon Sissel was born June 13, 1994, in Davenport, the son of Clint and Leann (Ferring) Sissel. He was a graduate of Davenport North High School in 2012.
He had been employed at Menards, Davenport.
His hobbies were playing football, fishing, camping, golf, Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include his parents; grandparents, George and Peggy Sissel, DeWitt, and Paul and Jeanne Ferring, Blue Grass; and great-grandmother, Lillian Sullivan.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua; his grandfather, Jim Ferring; and great-grandfather, Eugene Sullivan.
