Funeral services for Bobbi Jo Young, 47, of Davenport, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.
Mrs. Young died suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.

Bobbi Jo Poggenpohl was born Oct. 6, 1965, in Iowa City, the daughter of Edward and Janis (Sybert) Poggenpohl. She married Ken Young on June 20, 1987, in Davenport.
Mrs. Young worked as a supervisor for RR Donnelly Printing Company.
She was a charter member of the Jaycees in McCausland.
Her hobbies were Bingo, vegetable gardening, making salsa, riding her bicycle, walks, dancing, Quad-City Mallards, and spending time with her family.
Memorials may be made to her family.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Whitney Young, Davenport; a son, Kyle, Davenport; her father, Edward (Yvonne) Poggenpohl, Iowa City; sisters, Jeanne Stoddard, Georgia Cullison, Linda Haessler, Pam Morton, Robin Watkinson, Tressa Mann, Anna Haessler, Danna Hartz, Donna Poggenpohl, and Reba Suiter; and brothers, Bill, Alan, Craig and Butch Poggenpohl.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clifford and Darlene Young.
