Obituary: Teresa Spors

Teresa “T” Spors, 55, of LeClaire, and formerly of Edgerton, Wis., died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at her home, after a courageous fight with ovarian cancer. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 (today) at the Central Lutheran Church, Edgerton, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until the service. The Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Teresa was the daughter of Donald Zaborek and Gloria (Bjornstad) Haried. She attended Edgerton High School, Scott Community College, St. Ambrose, and graduated from William Penn University in December 2008.

Mrs. Spors had been employed by John Deere in Horicon, Wis., Raleigh, N.C.; and Moline. She had also been a sales operations specialist for United Health Care in Des Moines and Moline.

She was a supporter and co-chairman of United Way with both John Deere Health and UHC.

Her hobbies were shopping, family gatherings, Post-it notes, and Wisconsin sports.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Jake, and Jesse and wife Emily, all of Cedar Rapids; her mother and stepfather, Gloria and Dale Haried, Edgerton; a sister, Kathy Luzzatto, Iron River, Wis.; brothers, Dave Zaborek, West Bend, Ind., and Dan and wife Annie Zaborek, Williston, N.D.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Les and June Spors, Edgerton; and brothers-in-law, Bob and wife Shellie Spors, and Brian Spors and Paige Wright, Janesvill, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her father.
