Mark E. Fisher, 61, of Moline, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. The DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline, was in charge of arrangements.
Mark Fisher was born April 1, 1951, in Savanna, Ill., the son of Edward and Martha (Balutis) Fisher. He married Patricia Mattis on July 29, 1972, in Moline.
Mr. Fisher was employed at John Deere for 30 years, retiring in 2008.
His hobbies were antiquing, golfing, playing cards, traveling and his family.
Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Matthew and wife Melissa, Concord, N.C., and Daniel (Angie Taylor), Rock Island; grandchildren, Preston and Alexis; sisters, Pat (Tom) Zaber, and Sharon Thompson, all of Dubuque; and a brother, Jerry (Becky), Walcott.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marti; and brothers, Mike and Terry.
